I agree Isabel. Keeping up is going to be a problem for me. I just finished downloading the last info from the Lesson 1 web links a few days ago and now Lesson 2 is here. I have already started but I get side tracked looking at other things on the Museum sites.
The whole piece is stunning, Carol-Anne. I have bookmarked your blog so will have a lovely time reading about your achievements in stitching. (Over breakfast husband reads the news while I have a much more inspirational time reading about embroidery!) Isn't the internet wonderful?
Hi Isabel. The Butterfly comes from a piece that I stitched for my parent's golden wedding anniversary. The Pink Lady represents my mum on that piece but I have adopted it for my avatar :-)
There is a picture of the completed picture and some of the other butterflies on my blog
Hope the colors are good. My sister went last year at the same time as a hurricane, and it wasn't as good as she had hoped. Will you be able to take the mirror frame class in New Hampshire that Tricia is teaching? I Want one of those so bad, but can't travel.
Hello Janice, Fall, or Autumn as we call it here has been quite warm in Perth where I live, we do not get much change in the seasons here, it just gets gradually cooler and cooler until winter is here, so I am looking forward to visiting in the north of the USA in September this year to see some glorious 'Fall' colours.
Hi, Isabel. Just had to send a note that I really like the box. I, too, have tried to make a box (about 5 of them) but they were just the outside panels. Isn't it wonderful that we now can get an exact replica! I would love to see more of your work. How's Fall in Australia?
Your box is absolutely lovely! I know the story behind it, but maybe the rest of the class would like to know how it came about - especially those outside of Australia.

Hi Isabel, What a small world! I would love to catch up. I have admired your beautiful casket and had not realised you lived locally. Kind regards,Jo

Wow! Wow! Wow! - did I say Wow?
Yes, please tell us the story.
Yes, please! I'd love to know the story behind your beautiful box. And congratulations on completing it.
