  • Hi all. Just out of interest I thought you would all like to know that the unfinished needlework fetched £750 plus buyer's premium. Lucky buyer.
  • Hi Annette, thanks for the welcome,Yes i'm starting the encore class now, have just recieved the first five lessons. Very excited to be here.

  • Hi Annette,

Thanks again. I think I shall explore both the Pixelmator and the Sketchbook. My desktop computer is so old by computer standards that I had to break down and get a new one. So now it is learning to deal with the new. Didn't you just go into spasms of delight when your box of "goodies" arrived? Take care.

  • Congratulations to you, too!  We think at the end of December for our grandbaby. It's too soon for it to have sunk in, yet. Our son called from the doctor's office to say that they had seen the heart beating and that the little one had our son's head.

  • Hello Annette
I wasn't sure how to reply to these messages, but right now feel a bit
embarrassed that I left my reply so long - my apologies!  I'm trying to
sort out how everything works and what's important.  There's just so much
material on the Ning pages and in the course!
Seem to be quite a few kiwis now.  I notice Katya Gunn - I think I went to
a beading class which she taught at the ANZEG conference in Gore a few
years ago.  And I've met Joanne O'Hara at the Koala Convention in
Brisbane.  (I'm going there this year again - in some ways I wish I wasn't
    - life is too busy.   But I always love it)
Missed the Chch conference last year because I was in Brisbane.
Maybe our paths have crossed also with our 2 degrees of separation!!
    Cheers
    Judy
  • I jumped in at the start whilst trying to ignore the overall cost!  Have not regretted it for a second, but the time scale is such that I think the 'encore' class will quickly catch up with most of us!!  Must be great having the Ning group - the worst bit was waiting for class to start.  I'm in Dunedin; if you are ever down this way would be lovely to meet.

And if you are ever in Melbourne, there is a fabulous group of ladies there who have already met a few times, and have a gallery visit coming up there too....  Susan Joy Davis is the one to watch for those :-)

  • Welcome Annette!

  • Hurrah, Kiwi number three!
