Hiya, was going to look to see who else was in the UK :) So excited to start the course. I'll definatly get behind to start with as I'm sewing all my wedding clothes for September but come august I'll catch right up. Have you done any of her courses before?
I live in Fleet, which is in North East Hampshire. I signed up to make the cabinet. It will probably be slow progress as I am also in the middle of completing the Diploma at the Royal School of Needlework.
I'm on the Wirral, and I've joined up because I'm doing the Tudor Rose. With one major multi-year project in process and another burbling away in the back of my mind, I didn't have the courage to do the Cabinet itself!
Great to meet you online. I might not be in touch a lot this week as my computer is away getting a new hard drive. My laptop is playing up but I'm managing OK at the moment . Hope to be up and running next week. Need lots of tips as I've just enrolled.
Carol-Anne,
I've got a new phase 1 now will put it on frame this coming weekend. The red wine went everywhere. As to reading lesson one I'm halfway, it will need reading a few times.
Ideas too many and none, I'm going to wait and see. I will try and get to see as many as I can.
Oh Charlotte! How much stitching had you done? Can it not be saved by stitching an extra motif over the spill?
I put a mark on my Phase III when I was mounting it but fortunately I was able to stitch something over it.
Have you read through Lesson 1 yet? There is so much information in there, so much to take in. I will read it all at least once more and maybe this time make some notes. My head is spinning with design ideas but I have not settle on one yet. How about you, do you have any idea what you will do?
Wendy, I'm still the same as ever. Always behind, I glad that a few of the Susan girls are doing this project, I know that Grace is here and I will be seeing her in September at Lauren's class, she is always helpful and I also think that Marjan is here. One I get this week end over I will be able to get down to the reading of part 1. 104 coming to lunch at my church to start the Jubilee celebrations and I'm the cook.
Charlotte, how lovely to "see you" - - it's been such a long time since we shared a taxi to the station from a stitching class with Susan and Sarah! I have read all the notes 3 times - - the first time I was overwhelmed and wanted to run away but after Read 3 and thinking about it I think the project is going to be quite wonderful. I saw S&S recently - they came to New Jersey on their way home on holiday - - I took them to 5Guys Burgers and Fries for dinner!!

Hi Charlotte
Thank you for your welcome.

I feel sure that it is, nice to 'meet' another Brit so quickly.

Hi Charlotte, lovely to 'see' you here. I'm like you, always behind. In my case it is because I sign up for more things than I can sensibly do :-)
Good luck with your Jubilee lunch.
