I'm working on a Japanese embroidery project for the next world exhibition in 2015, so any work on the casket has been put aside for now. It's still very much in the early design stages anyway. Other than that, I've been stitching the Amy Mitten casket smalls, lovely to do, but a lot of work.
Hi Barbara
Great to hear from you again. Glad to know you are on the same workshop it will be great to catch up with you. I am enjoying my embroidery at the moment it is so challenging but slow going. How about you.
Jane
Hi Barbara I've only just read your message posted on January 10th! I'm so sorry not to have acknowledged it but don't seem to find time to visit the site very often. How interesting that you teach Japanese embroidery as I have a couple of friends who go to a lady in Yateley, Hants for lessons. Catherine
Hi Barbara, I was so nervous that day, please forgive me that I don't recall you. I hope I was demonstrating correctly! Welcome to the course and to the forum.
A few of of the UK members met up last year at the Ashmolean to view two of their caskets and related embroidery. I'm hoping we can do it again at another museum. If we do, would you like to join us?
I'm an member of the Sampler Guild UK. I'm number 75 Lin who runs it is great. Some of the other girls who are doing this course are also members. I wish you were nearer to me as I would come to your Japanese Embroidery Lessons.

Where is the exhibition in 2015 and what design are you showing?
