Thanks, Lamora. I'm using lots of different types of threads, and most of the clothing is the AVS1003. I agree with you on how it sits above the other threads, and as it's so fine you can get lots of detail in. In person the ears show up just fine, but my camera, and the lighting at the time the photo was taken, caused them to magically vanish. Tricia seems to be a much better photographer as she gets all that luscious detail in the examples in the lessons.
I'm sorry about the storm. I hope that it spent most of it's strength here, but I've heard it's still nasty. We thought the sky lights were going to be airborne at one point, and it was so cold! The ski resorts here are super happy, and Taos has already opened all ski runs, which was the earliest opening in years. Try to stay warm and inside-lots of hot chocolate!
